ITV has confirmed that Saturday Night Takeaway will be back next month.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have confirmed that they will return to host the hit ITV show in February and have promised that it will be the "happiest 90 minutes of the week".

Hoping to banish those miserable February blues as the nation is stuck in its third lockdown, the programme is back and cheerier than ever.

In a brand new promo, Ant and Dec run into shot as the Friday sign switches to Saturday and the pair get into tons of mischief.

Sharing the promo on their Instagram page today, the presenters wrote: "The happiest ninety minutes of the week is back this February! Who’s ready for the non-stop show show to be back on your telly? @itvtakeaway."

This comes after the pair previously teased the show's return on Instagram as they grinned behind the scenes.

They wrote: "Dapper clappers at your Saturday Night service A lil’ peek from promo filming to tickle your fancy. Excited!? @itvtakeaway @itv."

In another cheeky promo, Ant and Dec are seen standing in front of the cameras, with Ant sipping his coffee.

A director then calls at someone to get rid of the coffee cup, prompting Ant to reach over through the screen and places it on top.

They captioned it: "For coffee? You for coffee! Takeaway is brewing @itvtakeaway @itv."
