Rylan Clark-Neal made his return to The One Show on Friday to the delight of his fans.

The 32-year-old presented the show on BBC One together with Ronan Keating, interviewing Strictly Come Dancing judges Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood about the upcoming series of the dancing show along with Josh Widdicombe on his new book Watching Neighbours Twice A Day.

Ronan told Rylan: "You're looking fantastic – great to have you back." And Rylan responded: "It's so lovely to be back and I thought I'd celebrate by dressing as the new sofa."

Many viewers were delighted to see the return of the Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two host, messaging him with their well wishes on Twitter.

Karen Brannon wrote: "So nice to see Rylan back on our TV screens this evening. You have been missed."

Gabby Hibbert wrote: "Loved seeing Rylan back on the The One Show. Can you make it permanent, he’s such a natural on live TV, I didn’t stop smiling, just so good."

Rylan took a 10-week showbiz break and his TV appearance follows his recent return to BBC Radio 2.

It was also announced that Alex Jones will return to the show for one night only on Monday as The One Show visits Chelsea Flower Show.
