A Ryanair passenger gloated on his Instagram story about bagging a bargain flight to Poland that cost just £3.45.

English teacher Ryan Sharman shared the bargain in a screenshot as he plans to return home to the UK from working abroad.

The former Birmingham City University staff member wrote: "The moment when a flight from Poland to the UK is costs less than a day saver."

The return flight was cheaper than a day saver bus ticket in the West Midlands, as National Express charge £4 for the service.

It appears the ticket was the latest sale is offering 30% off their new routes from UK airports with the code PROMO30P.

Some of the new routes include flights to Tampere in Finland and Lisbon in Portugal, as well as Paris in France and Milan in Italy.

While the flights need to be booked today, they can be used for travel between November 3 and December 15.

The news comes less than a week after Ryanair launched a buy one get one free offer on flights as its headline Black Friday 2021 deal - so if you're looking to get, well, pretty much anywhere on a short-haul flight the budget airline is definitely worth a look.

There were exclusions on some dates around Christmas, but otherwise, it covers a huge number of destinations, although it doesn't cover UK domestic flights.

However, it does cover Norway, Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Denmark, Slovakia, Latvia, Sweden and many more.
