Vancouver Whitecaps have teased the signing of Ryan Gauld with a brilliant Irn Bro promo.
The MLS club ripped off the famous Cristiano Ronaldo rant about water and Coca Cola from Euro 2020.
Gauld is set to join Vancouver Whitecaps in a deal worth around £41k a week after they agreed a £300k deal with Farense.
The Portuguese club were considering taking the case to FIFA unless a deal was agreed, but a deal is set to be finalised this week.
Gauld is in Canada and Whitecaps have teased an announcement is coming soon.
Chief executive Axel Schuster was filmed sitting down to a press conference with two water bottles in front of him.
He then pulls the water bottles away and replaces them with Irn Bru with the video claiming stocks in the drink would be rising tomorrow.
It follows Ronaldo’s dig at Coca Cola at Euro 2020 when he replaced the soft drink with water bottles and telling everyone to drink water.
Gauld moves to the MLS after two years with Farense where he scored 18 goals in 55 games.
The former Dundee United youngster was tipped to be part of the Scotland squad for Euro 2020 but Steve Clarke decided against selecting him.
