Hello and welcome along to today's live rugby league blog where we will be bringing you all the latest news and rumours all day long.

Pre-season gets underway for some clubs on Monday as preparations begin for the 2022 Super League season and we'll be bringing you all the latest from around the competition in the blog.

Hull FC will be one of the club's returning next week for the start of pre-season and Brett Hodgson will be determined to right the wrongs of the 2021 campaign over the next 14 weeks of training.

Some clubs are still looking to do some last minute business, too, in the hope of strengthening their squads. We'll be keeping you across all the transfer news and rumours from around the Super League and Championship, as well as the biggest updates from the NRL.

Good morning!

We'll start with the news that former Hull KR full-back Adam Quinlan is closing in on a new club.

Quinlan was released by Rovers at the end of the season after five years at Craven Park in which he made 68 appearances.

Rugby League Live understands the fullback has courted interest from recently-relegated Leigh Centurions, who are looking to bolster their squad for the 2022 season.

It is thought the Australian has attracted interest from a Super League club, too, but a switch to the Leigh Sports Village seems most likely at this stage.
