A French ticket-holder has won Friday's record £184 million EuroMillions jackpot, the National Lottery has said.

Tonight's National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers were: 49, 21, 26, 34, 31, while the Lucky Stars were 05 and 02.

The largest EuroMillions jackpot win so far this year in the UK was last April when nine rollovers saw the jackpot go from a starting value of £14m to over £122m before it was won by one anonymous ticket holder

Also in June, £111,540,000 was claimed for another bumper win.

Tonight's EuroMillions draw is played in nine European countries, including the UK. EuroMillions says the odds of picking the seven numbers correctly is one in 139,838,160.

EuroMillions players had a second chance to win the record £184 million jackpot on Friday.

The huge amount went unclaimed after Tuesday's draw and it meant there has been a surge in interest over Friday's lottery.

Camelot's Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said beforehand: "It's all to play for on Friday night as the whopping EuroMillions jackpot of an estimated £184 million remains up for grabs.

"EuroMillions has now hit its cap, which means any money that would have gone into the jackpot will now boost prizes in the next winning prize tier.

"If one UK winner banks the lot, they would instantly become the UK's biggest ever National Lottery winner. Players are urged to get their tickets early to be in with a chance of winning this extraordinary prize."
