A RAILWAY vandal has been jailed for two months for a graffiti attack on two train carriages at Bradford’s Forster Square Station.
Thomas Faulkner pleaded guilty to criminal damage and trespass and was sentenced by Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court.
Faulkner, 35, of Springfield Court, Banksfield Avenue, Yeadon, committed the offences on May 8 this year.
He did £1,205 worth of damage in what the court described as a “deliberate and planned offence.”
As well as being jailed for two months, he was ordered to pay £1,205 compensation to Northern Rail.
After the case, British Transport Police released images of the damage (pictured).
The train had been daubed in yellow and purple paint, with some white crosses included in the vandalism.
