Queer Eye star Tan France and his husband Rob have welcomed home their newborn son Ismail France after three weeks spent in the NICU.

The couple welcomed their son via surrogate with Tan informing fans that Ismail was born seven weeks early.

However, they finally got to bring their adorable son home and the star shared the happy news with his 3.8 million followers.

"Give our son a warm welcome," the fashion expert wrote. "Ismail France, born July 10th.

"He came 7 weeks early, so he’s been in the NICU for the past 3 weeks. But, today, we finally got to bring him home. We love him so, so much. Like, fully obsessed.

"Our Surrogate is doing so great, post labor, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the greatest gift in our lives."

Tan shared a snap that showed Tan holding Ismail while Rob placed his arm over his husband's shoulder.

The two looked over the moon as they took an adorable family portrait.

He also shared a solo snap of him cradling his newborn.

His famous pals immediately took to the comment section to congratulate the star on welcoming home Ismail.

Derry Girls' Nicola Coughlan commented: "Congratulations Tan and Rob how brilliant," along with a few smiling face with hearts emojis.

Queer Eye co-star Antoni Porowski posted: "overjoyed for you tannay," and Bobby Berk congratulated with: "So so happy for you love. He is simply perfect and your growing little family gives me so much happiness and joy. Love you all so much and can’t wait to meet little Ismail."

"Ahhhhh congrats!! This is SOOOO exciting!" Emily In Paris star Lily Collins said, while Lily Aldrige added: "Sending love and blessings!!!! Congratulations."

The Netflix star first announced they were expecting a baby back in April.

He announced the joyful baby news on social media with a topless snap complete with an ultrasound picture superimposed over his belly.

"So happy to finally share that WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!" he wrote in the caption.

"No, I'm not pregnant, despite this VERY realistic pic. With the greatest gift/help of the most wonderful surrogate, Rob and I are lucky enough to be on our way to being parents, this summer.

"Something we've wanted for SOooo many years. Our hearts are so full right now. I cannot wait to hold this baby, and to show him so much love."
