Kate Middleton and William: Expert on vaccine 'statement'
Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, 39, has received huge praise from royal fans in the wake of her latest virtual engagement. The Duchess spoke to NHS nurses at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW), on a video call earlier in the week.
In the short video which is understood to have been filmed at the Queen's Sandringham royal residence in Norfolk, Kate said: "You hear time and time again about the amazing things nurses up and down the country are doing, going that extra mile."
The Duchess added: "And it's the things that, you know, it's not part of the training and the things that you're taught but the things that come from your heart.
"And I think that's what matters so much now, these acts of kindness to the patients you're looking after, that are in your care, that family members aren't able to be there, but you are going that extra mile and being there."
Kensington Palace tweeted the clip of Kate's latest video call with the message: "Nurses up and down the country are going that extra mile, at a time when patients need it the most."
