The Government announced earlier this week it would cover half the cost of people's meals throughout August in a bid to help bring footfall back to pubs and restaurants.

The scheme which was confirmed Chancellor Rishi Sunak will operate Monday-Wednesday and will have unlimited uses however it doesn't include alcohol.

To take advantage of it all you'll need to do is visit one of the businesses taking part and order your food to eat in as takeaways don't count, reports MirrorOnline.

Since the news was announced, many pub and restaurant chains have already opted into the scheme, with more signing up daily.
