£500,000 roadworks on the horizon of the A76 in Ayrshire

Ayrshiredrivers have been informed that there may be delays to their trips starting next week due to road works on the A76.

Portions of the route betweenNewcumnockandKirkconnellin Dumfriesshire are undergoing maintenance that will last Monday, August 22nd through Tuesday, September 6th. receive.

Construction will take place using a daytime convoy system from 7am to 6pm daily, with traffic controls removed after this time.

An additional nighttime temporary traffic control will be in place from Monday, September 5th at 6:00 PM to Tuesday, September 6th at 6:00 AM to complete the work.

All traffic management will be removed at that time.
