Prince William asked very cheeky question as Kate cradles baby at charity visit

Prince William appeared to be asked a very cheeky question as his wife Kate lit up while cradling yet another baby.

During the couple's trip to Northern Ireland, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Carrick Connect, a charity based in Carrickfergus which offers support services to local young people experiencing social or emotional difficulties. While at the organisation, the royal pair were introduced to people connected with the organisation, including a mum who was holding her young baby son. The mum then asks Kate: "Would you like to nurse him?" The princess's face then lights up and she shoots her husband an excited look before replying: "Oh yeah, I'd love too."

Kate, mum to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, then cradles the infant in her arms as William gives her a knowing smile and jokes: "More babies, more babies" before conceding: "Catherine loves cuddling babies."

The prince then describes the baby as "very sweet" before a lady, who is part of the group, dares to ask the cheeky question.

She asks: "Are you going to try tonight, Sir?" causing people to laugh.

And although William's immediate response is not clear, he then appears to jokily reply: "That's how it ends."

It was the second time in just two days that Kate was seen cradling a baby during official engagements.

On Wednesday, she tenderly held a premature infant during a surprise visit to the maternity unit at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

It came when she met with new mum Szilvia Novak and her baby daughter Bianca, who was born six weeks early.

And sweet images showed the princess chatting to Ms Novak while holding tiny Bianca in her arms.

It came after the new mum, originally from Budapest in Hungary, asked the princess if she would like to hold the baby while the pair were talking in the hospital’s Special Baby Care Unit.

Kate replied: "Am I allowed to?" before a member of staff helped Ms Novak pass the baby to Kate.

As she cradled Bianca in her arms, Kate said: "She's very sweet."

She then returned the baby to Ms Novak before continuing her tour of the hospital.

Afterwards, Ms Novak said: "I asked her if she wanted to hold her and she opted for it. I can't blame her. (Bianca) is cute.

"(The princess) was lovely to speak to. I was really impressed. You don't feel like you have classes between you. It's really nice."
