Living in a palace means having chefs to cater to your every craving - but it seems the royals, like the rest of us, can't resist indulging in fast food every now and then.
And two young princes who certainly loved a trip to their local McDonalds were Prince William and Prince Harry.
When they were kids, their late mum Princess Diana would take them to the burger joint - and it left royal chef Darren McGrady somewhat puzzled.
Speaking to Marie Claire, he once recalled a day when he was told Diana and the boys were off out to McDonald's for lunch - and it wasn't necessarily for the food - it's what comes with chain's famous Happy Meal.
He said: "I remember the Princess came into the kitchen one day and said, 'Cancel lunch for the boys I'm taking them out, we're going to McDonald's.
"And I said, 'Oh my god your royal highness, I can do that, I can do burgers.'
"And she said, 'No, it's the toy they want.'
"Yeah, the boys loved McDonald's, and going out for pizza, and having potato skins—sort of the American foods. They were royal princes but had children's palates."

Diana and her sons made regular trips to McDonald's - and a Big Mac and chips even became part of their Saturday night routine.
Their former butler Paul Burrell told the Mirror: "The three of them would nip to McDonald’s for a Big Mac and fries before coming back to watch Blind Date. All three of them would squat on this massive, stuffed hippopotamus Diana had in her sitting room.
"They loved Blind Date and I’d hear them all screaming things like “Oh don’t pick him!” and “Lorra, lorra fun”."
It's unknown if the brothers still enjoying a cheeky McDonalds every now and then but it's been reported they are still partial to a takeaway.
Appearing on That Peter Crouch Podcast in March last year, Prince William confessed he often struggles to decide what cuisine to go for when choosing a takeaway.
"It's a real conundrum when it comes to it. Pizza, curry, or Chinese,' he admitted.
While in the past Prince Harry has been spotted grabbing a Nandos at their branch in London's Fulham Broadway.
Harry ordered a chicken pitta with extra cheese, which in itself is fairly standard, but his spice level was not impressing anyone.
The pitta was a lemon and herb, which is the mildest flavour Nando's offers, so it seems he doesn't like his chicken to be too hot.
There was also a side of creamy mash along with a double chicken wrap with chips - and to wash it all down Harry ordered a soft drink and a bottle of water.Read More Read More
