Prince George to make a 'very good' king says Vine caller
The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge have thought to have already told the seven-year-old he will one day rise to the throne. Royal author Robert Lacey described in one of his books how William wanted to delay the conversation with his son - in a bid to give him a “normal family upbringing.”
However, in a chapter of Battle of Brothers seen by the Daily Mail, Mr Lacey claimed the Duke finally told his son about his future duties “sometime around his seventh birthday.”
He wrote: “William has not revealed to the world how and when he broke the big news to his son.
“Maybe one day George will tell us the story himself.
“But sometime around the boy’s seventh birthday in the summer of 2020 it is thought that his parents went into more detail about what the little prince’s life of future royal ‘service and duty’ would particularly involve.”

The royal expert wrote that William’s intention as a parent “was to give his son ‘a normal family upbringing,’ enabling the monarchy ‘to stay relevant and keep up with modern times.’”
The Duke chose to wait for the right time to have the conversation with his son in an apparent reflection of “William’s unhappiness at the haphazard fashion in which the whole business of his royal destiny had buzzed around his head from the start.”
According to a royal commentator, Prince George has so far been able to enjoy his childhood with "very little fuss made about who he is”.
The List narrator Christine-Marie Liwag Dixon explained how the young royal’s status is being "downplayed”.

She told viewers: "Being the heir to the throne is sure to set you apart from your peers.
"But Prince George, nonetheless, seems to be blending in well at school.
"Especially considering the decidedly non-royal nickname that his friends call him.
"A parent of a student at his school told Vanity Fair that the future British monarch is called ‘PG’ by his classmates."
