Liverpool travel to Deepdale to face a Preston North End side looking to cause a cupset against Jurgen Klopp's side in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Klopp's men are the heavy favourites at 33/100 with Grosvenor Sport while Preston are 7/1 and a draw is 24/5.

The Inside Track 's Tom Phillips is backing the Reds to win convincingly after their superb 5-0 win at Old Trafford.

The atmosphere in the dressing room will be electric at the moment after such a huge and historic win against arch rivals Manchester Untied as Mo Salah was correctly backed to score at least two goals.

They will be looking to build on that win in the Premier League when they welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Anfield - a fixture they lost last season 1-0 and will be out for revenge.

First though, they have Preston in the EFL Cup to deal with the Lancashire side struggling in the Championship, picking up just one win since beating Cheltenham Town in the third round six games ago.

Team stats

The Reds average 12.67 total corner per game but have not hit that in their last five matches. Under 8.5 total corners is 29/20 with Grosvenor Sport.

They also average 3.65 total goals per game and over 3.5 goals is 3/5.

Player to watch

It is difficult to predict who will be featuring in this as Klopp will no doubt rotate his side with Champions League football still to go net week and two more Premier League matches before the next international break.

But based on their last EFL Cup outing I'm going to back Takumi Minamino to find the net at 29/20 after his brace away at Carrow Road in the third round.

Takumi Minamino celebrates after scoring Liverpool's first goal during the Carabao Cup tie with Norwich City.

This will be the 70th meeting between the two sides with Liverpool having the better overall record with 28 wins, 19 draws and 22 losses.

They have not met since the third round of the FA Cup in the 2008/09 season which Liverpool won 2-0.
