Hard-working Lauren Goodger is back in her beauty salon and looking for models who want to try the Russian Lip technique.
The former TOWIE star, 34, is due to give birth to her first baby in July but she's taken advantage of the easing of lockdown restrictions on "personal care premises" like hairdressers and salons since the beginning of May to return to her day job.
In an Instagram post to her 782,000 followers, Lauren gave a shout-out for people to come and try lip fillers at her beauticians, LG Aesthetics:
“I am looking for Russian Lip models .. I am fully qualified and fully trained. I just want models! My fav lip look so Please DM @lg_aestheticslondon for prices times and dates.”
Lauren has had a rollercoaster of a pregnancy ever since she announced she was expecting her first child in January. She and boyfriend Charles Drury, who is 11 years her junior had an elaborate pink-themed gender reveal party, and posed for a maternity shoot.
They shared their happy news with OK! back in January, with Lauren telling the magazine: "This is where my life begins."
What are Russian Lips?
This is a technique, first promoted in the UK last year, in which filler is injecting into the lips vertically. The aesthetician will start at the base of the lip and work outwards.
The idea is to create a lifted, subtle heart shape, much like a Russian doll. They don't use as much filler as traditional methods, leaving the lips looking flatter from the side and avoiding the so-called ‘trout pout’. Russian Lips don't cost any more than traditional fillers.
