The spin-off TV series first aired at the beginning of September on Starz.

The action picked up on where Power left off, with Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) perusing his education as he father wished.

Rainey Jr recently spoke tabout his hopes for a second season of the series.

He told Digital Spy: "We'll see - hopefully.

"That's all up to, you know, production and stuff like that. Hopefully that definitely does happen."

While his co-star LaToya Tonodeo, who plays Diana Tejada in the American drama, also confessed she was "rooting" for a follow up.

She said: "I feel like we could definitely get to season two.

"I'm here for that because I really love being around this cast, everyone is like family and just so friendly and fun."

Tonodeo added: "We hang out outside so I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to that, so I'm definitely up for season two, for sure."
