Police have released CCTV images of men they want to speak in connection with a brawl in Deansgate .

A fight broke out between two groups of men near Manahatta at around 3.05pm on Saturday, September 14.

Police were called to the brawl but the group had dispersed by the time officers arrived.

No-one is believed to have been hurt.

One man has been charged in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Paul Shacklady, of GMP’s City of Manchester division, said: "This was a large fight in which several people could have been injured.

"Thankfully, that is not the case but we won’t tolerate behaviour of this kind on our streets.

"I am aware this happened a few months ago but our investigation is ongoing.

"We have established that there were around 40 people in the area at the time. This and the high-quality CCTV mean there should be people who can help us with our enquiries."
