It is the last Friday before Christmas and one of the biggest nights out of the year.
Thousands of people headed out on Friday night - also known as Mad Friday - to celebrate Christmas with a few drinks.
But it wasn't just a busy night in the pubs and clubs as police were also extremely busy.
Humberside Police put extra resources on to deal with the crowds and tackle any issues.
By the early hours of Saturday morning, 29 people were in custody at Hull's Clough Road police station.

Police tweeted: "#HullCustodySuite. Only 2 rooms free in our exclusive South East Wing, 29 rooms are occupied, excellent work in #hullcitycentre the vast majority enjoying their evening."
They later added: "A very busy Public Order Shift is almost over."
In Beverley, police also said they had a very busy night.
They tweeted: "A busy night for team 2... 6 in the cells for numerous offences including assault, drink driving, drunk & disorderly and assault police.
"Thanks to @HumPolSpecials for their assistance. #MadFridayCourtOnSaturday."
