A Wirral park was the focus of police activity after reports of a fight involving a group of youths.

Officers were called out to Central Park in Wallasey on Sunday (October 18).

A police spokesperson said: "It was reported just before 5.45pm that a group of youths were in the park and two had been involved in a fight.

"Officers attended and the youths dispersed.

"A search was undertaken to locate the two involved, which proved negative."
