Police were called out as a car plunged into a canal in a South Derbyshire village.
The Ford Fiesta was discovered in an area that is known to attract antisocial behaviour, a spokesman for the Mercia Police Safer Neighbourhood Team said.
Officers were called to Moor Lane, Barrow upon Trent, yesterday, Wednesday, October 20, to discover the abandoned silver-looking Ford Fiesta partially submerged.

Recovery trucks were called in to pull the car from the water, before it was seized.
Police shared pictures of the vehicle on social media of the car being pulled from the water and how it was found with the front end submerged and the back end sticking out.
A spokesman for the team, which is an arm of Derbyshire Police, said: "A report came in of a suspicious vehicle at Moor Lane, near Barrow Upon Trent, a well-known antisocial behaviour hotspot. Arriving on scene on a wet, drizzly morning, your Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) discovered a Ford Fiesta partially submerged in a canal.
