A Pizza Hut customer said he felt “sick to his stomach” after he claims his friend smelt urine and discovered a pregnancy test under his seat.
Ollie Cooper and his friends went to Pizza Hut in Cornwall on Saturday October 24 and were sat at a booth.
It didn’t take long before one of Ollie’s friends noticed something was off, and told him he could smell urine, reports CornwallLive.
The friend then lifted up his seat and was allegedly found a used pregnancy test underneath the seat cushion.
Ollie said he shouted when he saw the test and even went as far as to put a status up on Facebook warning other people to avoid the restaurant.
He said: "My mate said he could smell urine.
"And he started to lift up the seat and I looked over and saw the test there.
"I told the manager and he said, oh right, I'll remove that then, in a minute.
"I shouted when I saw it to be honest, I shouted 'eugh!' It's vile."
Ollie said: "I felt sick to my stomach.
"I even put a status up on Facebook telling people to avoid it.
"If anyone sees that they aren't going to want to eat there."
The group claim they felt so violated that they left the pizza chain immediately and later called the manager to let him know they'll be contacting the Cornwall Council Trading Standards to take the issue further.
Ollie added: "Me and my mates left because I thought, I'm not eating there so I rang him up saying, I suggest you clean the place or I'll ring trading standards first thing Monday morning' and he decided to just give me stupid attitude.
"He said, don't demand me to do things, I'm busy now so I can't clean it all now so I thought, alright then."
"I tried ringing trading standards Sunday but offices are only open Monday to Friday."
