On their Kensington Palace Instagram, Kate and William shared a heartwarming clip of them chatting with the children, as they joked about the Duke of Cambridge eating too much chocolate.
Piers tweeted: “Love this. Interesting how William & Kate's LACK of Hollywood-style celebrity glitz, down-to-earth attitude, & commitment to duty, have become such impressive attributes in a time of national crisis.”
The video has had nearly five million views on Instagram, as viewers from all over the world tuned in to see Kate and Williams kind words to those who are directly impacted by coronavirus.
Kate looked radiant in the clip, with golden earrings and a bright yellow top, while William appeared smart in a blue shirt.

The Sussex well-wishers wrote: “Before COVID-19 became an ominous presence in our lives, a group of us got together to organise a fund-raising campaign to honour the principles emphasised by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their humanitarian efforts: community, kindness and compassion for vulnerable people and ecologies.
The former Sussex couple did make sure to celebrate the run-up to Archie’s birthday on social media.
"Our campaign would build on previous efforts conducted in support of the Sussexes, particularly the #GlobalSussexBabyShower fundraiser, which was carried out in enthusiastic anticipation of the couple's first child.
"One year later, motivated by the pure joy of Archie's arrival and the very serious circumstances of our time, we introduce a campaign in honour of his first birthday and to promote those principles we hold dear, community, kindness and compassion."
