Another day, another Piers Morgan outburst on social media as the TV presenter calls Loose Women star Carol McGiffin ‘an irrelevant has-been’.

The TV presenter had been triggered by the 61-year-old criticised him in her latest column for Best magazine.

Taking to his Twitter account, the 56-year-old quote tweeted The Mirror article which stated Carol had reignited her feud with 'hypocritical monster' Piers.

"I don't have feuds with irrelevant has-beens," the former Good Morning Britain presenter wrote to his followers, alongside a number of laughing-face emojis.

In her column, Carol took issue with the TV personality's habit to "shut people down" and claimed he “demonises” those who disagree with him.

“This hypocritical monster continues to preach, smear, defame, demonise, insult everyone who doesn’t agree with him or do as he says, while he continues to do as he pleases," she wrote.

“He’s got a book out about free speech,” the TV star added.

“The blurb on it is basically saying people can’t debate anymore and they just shut people down.”

Piers was clearly not impressed with the former wife of Chris Evans discussing him, choosing to acknowledge her comments on Twitter to his millions of followers, claiming not to have feud with the star.

"And now we know piers doesn't fued with himself," joked one replier, while another wrote: "Make a sentence using the follow 3 words, Pot, Kettle, black."

A third replied to him, saying: "Carol McGiffin is *always* relevant - love her to bits. And if I had to choose which one of you two to eject from my lifeboat…"

Last year, Carol revealed that the Life Stories host had blocked her on social media, claiming that she had clearly "touched a nerve".

The blocking came after the Celebrity Big Brother star called out Piers for his opinions on coronavirus in August 2020.

"To everyone on here deluding themselves that Covid is ‘over’, take a look at Spain’s case & death rate in the past week. Then wake the f**k up. This pandemic has barely started," he tweeted one Friday to his millions of followers.

It's been reported that since the coronavirus pandemic began in the UK, over 130,000 people have lost their life to the deadly disease.

Carol was not happy with his comments, replying: "Piers. The only deluded person around here is you. No one’s buying your hysterical bulls**t anymore. You did a brilliant job of scaring the nation into paralysis but it’s over now."

The star has been a loud voice against compulsory mask wearing throughout the global pandemic.

“I will go out of my way to not wear one because I think they’re invasive; they’re uncomfortable," she said during an episode of Loose Women in 2020.

“The virus isn’t going away and there’s not going to be a vaccine for a hell of a long time, so when do we stop wearing those masks or do we always have to walk around with our faces covered? I find it a real invasion of my space," she added.
