PETER Andre was overcome with emotion as his son Junior rushed over and hugged him after getting his birthday present.
The 48-year-old admitted "I'm a big softie" during the touching moment after the lad for a scooter for his 16th birthday.
Junior opened the door to the family's Surrey mansion looking stunned to see the gleaming red bike in the drive.
He told dad Pete and wife Emily: "No way, you actually got me one. Look at his face, oh my gosh.
"Dad, thank you so much, I love you. I'm getting emotional guys. What the hell, how did you convince him? Wow."
The father and son - Peter's eldest child with ex Katie Price - then hugged in the driveway.

He later admitted in the family's YouTube show: "I got emotional because I'm a big softie."
However, he stressed the scooter wasn't the sort of high-powered motorbike he wasn't allowed to ride when he was a teenager.
Addressing his own father in Australia, he insisted the scooter was speed-limited to 30mph and would only be driven on the local roads.
The bike came with a set of L-plates but Emily, 31, told the lad: "We've booked your test for 3 July."
