Peter Andre grimaces as wife Emily takes him to the beach on a ‘cold British summers day’

PETER Andre grimaced as wife Emily took him to the beach on a "cold British summers day".

The singer, 47, is enjoying a staycation in Cornwall with his wife but the bad weather seemed to get the best of him.

The photos show Emily squeezing Peter's face as they stand on a beach.

But in the next pic, the reality star has a very sad look on his face - saying the British weather wasn't to his liking.

He wrote on Instagram: "She finally got me smiling on a cold British summers day on the beach… swipe to see how I initially felt.

The star is plugging his show, Life With The Andres, available to watch exclusively on The Sun's YouTube channel.

Earlier in the day, Peter accused his wife of having a "sense of humour failure" as they bickered over going out on a dinghy in Cornwall.

The 47-year-old was determined to bring fun to a family day out on the beach by challenging himself to row out to sea.

But it was far from what his stunning doctor wife Emily wanted to get up to on her day off.

Documenting their Cornish trip on Life With The Andres, Pete said: "I am going to attempt to get in this dinghy and cross the river.

"Don't worry we've got his life things. Emily's not too keen, I think it's going to be brilliant.

"Emily is not in the mood for this. Remember we went to the beach and you said this would be fun."

Emily replied: "This is not what I had in mind."

Peter teased: "You are having a sense of humour failure."

Watching Pete go out in the dinghy and struggle to leave the shore, Emily laughed: "There is zero chance you're going to be able to row the boat all the way over there against the tide."

She added sarcastically: "Yep, great idea guys. It's going really well."

Also on last night's latest YouTube episode, Emily was forced to reject a cuddle from her three-year-old son Theo.

The 31-year-old star - who works as a doctor on the NHS frontline - could not touch the toddler until she changed out of her hospital uniform due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Her little boy can be seen asking for a hug as he excitedly reached his arms out to his mum as she got home from a busy day at work.

Emily's face drops as she explains: "Let me go and get changed and I'll come and give you a big cuddle!"

Peter Andre staggered that British beaches are so nice as Emily takes him to ‘incredible’ Cornwall
