Interim manager Ralf Rangnick will be looking to make a winning start to life in charge of Manchester United when they welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
United, who have won just one of their last four meetings with the Londoners, will be looking to build on Thursday evening's thrilling 3-2 victory over Arsenal, which brought an end to their three-game winless run in the league.
Cristiano Ronaldo netted a brace and Bruno Fernandes scored his first Premier League goal since September to help the Reds come out on top and end Michael Carrick's time at the club on a high.
However, focus now switches to life under new manager Rangnick, who addressed the media for the very first time on Friday morning in a press conference at Old Trafford, with the German looking to make an immediate impact at he club.
But how do the pundits think the Reds will get on in their first game under the experienced 63-year-old's stewardship?
Mark Lawrenson - BBC Sport
"Ralf Rangnick takes charge of Manchester United for the first time on Sunday and I'm definitely expecting a reaction from their players," Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
"There has already been an improvement in United's performances since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's departure, which is understandable - everyone is already playing for their place and even the ones who were out of the team think they might have a chance because all the players start afresh.
"I think that improvement from United will continue. Crystal Palace will be trying to spoil the party at Old Trafford but they are another team who have had a bit of a blip since the international break and seem to have lost their momentum."
Prediction: United 2-0 Crystal Palace.
Paul Merson - Sportskeeda
"Manchester United managed a great result against Arsenal this week," Merson told Sportskeeda. "Their new manager won’t be able to do too much for this game – he’ll have only one training session with his players.
"Ronaldo’s still scoring all the goals for Man United, and his 801-goal tally is unbelievable.
"I'm sure Ralf Rangnick will also give Sancho a fair chance. He's seen enough of Sancho in German football and United have paid a lot of money for him, so I'm hoping it pays off.
"United fans will turn up expecting their team to win this game, but Palace do have the players to hurt them. They're a dangerous team, and I wouldn't be too surprised if they took something away from this Premier League game."
Prediction: United 2-2 Crystal Palace.
Michael Owen - BetVictor
"The main man, Cristiano Ronaldo, again stole the headlines with his 800th and 801st career goals in the win against Arsenal," Owen told BetVictor. "It will be very interesting to see how Ralf Rangnick gets on as the United boss and how he manages Ronaldo.
"That’s now two defeats in a row for Palace. They had a few chances against Leeds on Tuesday but to concede in the last minute must be a tough one to take.
"Palace have given the top sides some problems this season, and I don’t think this will be easy for United. I think they will have just too much though."
Prediction: United 2-1 Crystal Palace.
