A PERSON was shot dead and another was injured outside a Covid vaccination centre in Paris today.
The incident happened in front of the Henri-Dunant hospital in the 16th arrondissement of the French capital at around 1.40pm local time.
A police source told Reuters the attacker fled on a motorcycle, adding that nothing was known about the motive for the shooting.
Officers are now looking for the suspect, who is on the run, and a large police presence is in front of the hospital.
A local police source said: "A gunman pulled up outside the hospital on a scooter and shot a man and a woman, leaving one dead."
BFM television reported that the person killed is a man and the person injured is a woman who was working as a security agent for the hospital.
The injured person is now receiving care at the hospital.
Henri-Dunant hospital is also a Covid-19 vaccination centre.
