Paolo Nutini tickets sell out in minutes and appear on re-sale sites for hundreds of pounds

Fans were left gutted today as tickets for the Paolo Nutini UK tour sold out in minutes and were being sold on re-sale sites for hundreds of pounds.

Since Monday, fans have been able to get their hands on pre-sale tickets through 02 Priority and also exclusive early access from buying Paolo's album.

But today was general sale and some of his gigs sold out in a flash.

Yesterday, he announced that due to demand he had added three extra dates to the tour.

And as tickets went on sale again, and sold out quickly, again, fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration.

One wrote: "How on earth are Paolo Nutini tickets sold out in like a second? I’ve been on Ticketmaster since 8."

Another added: "Anyone else haven trouble getting paolo nutini tickets."

While one said: "Paolo Nutini tickets sold out in legit 10 seconds, f*****g joke."

One commented: "Did I get the wrong date for paolo nutini tickets going on sale? Yes. Am I contemplating buying tickets in london because that’s all that’s left? You betcha."

Another fan fumed that the tickets were already on a re-sale site for hundreds of pounds.

They said: "Watching paolo nutini tickets sell out instantly and then be put on resale sites for £300-£600 EACH worst behaviour."

Previously the Scots singer urged fans not to buy tickets at 'inflated' prices from sites such as Viagogo as they will 'not be valid'.

He said: "Please DON'T buy tickets at inflated prices from unauthorised resale sites such as Viagogo as those tickets will not be valid."

Viagogo has faced calls for a criminal investigation after the Daily Record previously discovered it had listed millions of pounds worth of illegal “spec” tickets.
