Amanda Owen has issued a warning about a scam that has been circulating online using fake pages claiming to be associated to the Yorkshire shepherdess.
The 46-year-old star of Channel 5's Our Yorkshire Farm took to Twitter to warn her fans of the "terrible" scam and that she was trying to get the offending pages removed from the internet.
Amanda has urged fans not to part with their money on the site as it is nothing to do with her.
The fakes site came to light after the shepherdess was questioned during a live chat.
A fan of the Our Yorkshire Farm star wrote on Twitter: "Hi, is all ok with your live chat? Just been asked for bank details and still couldn’t see you?"
The mum-of-nine was responded and urged the fan to not give out their personal bank details.
Amanda replied: "NOOOOO!!! It’s a scam. Please do NOT part with any money, card details.
"Go to my website yorkshireshepherdess.com where all genuine events are detailed.
"Alternatively check out Facebook but look for the verification badge that tells you it’s not a fake."
The person who has been targeted responded: "Ringing the bank now!"
Amanda then told her followers: "These scammers are terrible and it is impossible to completely eradicate their fake pages and scams.
"We put a lot of time and effort into reporting and removing any that we find but they are very persistent."
Amanda has often staged public speaking events, in which she shares details of her life as a shepherdess and working on her family farm.
On her website, she shares details of these events and has said this is the only place you can find verified offers and tickets.
