Cristiano Ronaldo was visibly dejected after Man Utd's defeat to Leicester City as more pressure mounts on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The wheels have come off the Red Devils' title challenge with a disappointing 4-2 defeat to the Foxes on Saturday.

The Old Trafford boss is continuing to come under scrutiny with his critics claiming he is not the individual to lead United to silverware.

Ronaldo was left gutted at the full-time whistle as he immediately headed straight for the tunnel, like he did in the 1-1 draw over Everton before the international break as he stormed back to the Old Trafford dressing room.

But this time, he wasn't angry, he just looked helpless as if he is fed up with the current rut United are in.

He was met by Solskjaer, who directed the Portuguese towards the Manchester United away end. Ronaldo wandered to applaud the United fans, but turned back at the centre circle.

Solskjaer admitted "something has to give" as Man Utd's season is slipping away from them.

He told BBC Sport: "Over the international break we have had a good look to see what has gone wrong lately.

"But we need to look at the whole set up and balance of the team and maybe something has to give."

On the game, the Norwegian continued to assess by saying: "The four goals we conceded were all very poor.

"The performance was definitely very below par and not good enough.

"We started with a very, very good goal with Mason and we're knocking on the door to get another one but then sloppy play and we concede that first goals which is disappointing.

"Second half, still end-to-end but they create more chances.

"Two goals from set pieces is very disappointing.

"And, of course, 10 seconds after you've equalised that [Jamie Vardy's volley to make it 3-2] shouldn't happen at all."

"I pick the team and Harry showed no reaction after what he's gone through.

"I hold my hand up if that doesn't work out and sometimes that doesn't.

"When you concede four, I've probably made a few bad decisions."
