Manchester City have been told they missed out on signing one of the best players on the planet this summer.
In the midst of the biggest summer transfer saga, England striker Harry Kane was priced out of a high-profile move to the Etihad Stadium and remains a Tottenham player this season.
City did manage to splash out £100million on Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
However, after they allowed Sergio Aguero to leave the Premier League for Barcelona, the champions ultimately failed in their follow-up pursuit for Kane - who spoke openly about a desire to win the team trophies to match his ever-prolific goals return.
A three-time Golden Boot winner, the 28-year-old had yet to find the target during this Premier League campaign as Tottenham headed into the north London derby against Arsenal.
According to his manager, though, it's only a matter of time before Kane sparks in front of goal, once again.
Speaking ahead of that match at the Emirates Stadium, former Wolves coach Nuno Espirito Santo said: "I think we all know the quality and the talent of Harry. It's just a matter of time. He did well on Wednesday.
"We know what was [happened] before. He's progressing, he's improving. Let's be patient. We know what we have and Harry is one of the better players in the world.
"It's a big advantage to have an ace like that."
