The Clarets are still looking to pick up their first win of their top flight campaign, while Spurs have suffered back to back losses in their last two games.
They have both been 1-0 losses at the hands of Vitesse in the Europa Conference League and against London rivals West Ham United last Sunday at the London Stadium.
And in light of the recent struggles that Nuno's side have experienced, former Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United striker Michael Owen believes that the Clarets can come out on top this evening with a slender 1-0 scoreline.
"I fancy Burnley to nick this one," said the former England striker in his Bet Victor column.
"I thought Spurs were poor on Sunday and they’ve disappointed in the UEFA Conference League so far this season.
"I’m saying 1-0 to Burnley."
