Here is your Newcastle United transfer rumours round-up on Thursday, October 28.
Newcastle prepare €7million contract offer
The Magpies have reportedly drawn up a €7million contract for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
According to Calciomercato, Newcastle are plotting an ambitious move for the Croatian midfielder, with his contract set to expire in the Summer.
Inter Milan are trying to tie the 28-year-old down at the San Siro but time is running out.
Brozovic has been one of the standout players since joining Inter and was part of the side that won the Serie A title last season.
The midfielder will be free to negotiate and could sign a pre-contract agreement in January with Newcastle reportedly keen.
It's worth stressing that the Magpies have been linked with a whole host of players since their recent takeover and the Croatian has reportedly set an asking wage €6million per annum.
Florian Wirtz profiled amid £84m transfer claim
Since Newcastle's takeover by a Saudi-led consortium was completed earlier this month, the club have constantly been linked with some of the finest players currently playing in Europe.
Ousmane Dembele was the latest star to be linked with a move to Tyneside last week.
However, this week more reports are emerging linking the Magpies with a move for Bundesliga and Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid Florian Wirtz.
Wirtz, who is still only 18, has become Germany's latest sensation after he became the youngest player to score ten Bundesliga goals.
And according to SportBILD, Newcastle scouts were in attendance for last weekend's game against FC Koln as they looked to keep tabs on the young star ahead of a potential move in the summer of 2023.

Samir Nasri takes aim at the Magpies amid transfer links to Marseille midfielder
Samir Nasri has told Newcastle United summer 'target' Boubacar Kamara to turn down a move to the Magpies.
The French youth international was on the Magpies radar over the summer, but a move would not materialise.
The contract of the 21-year-old midfielder expires this summer, and the former Man City and Arsenal midfielder has sent him a word of warning.
Nasri told French outlet Football Club De Marseille: "I would advise Kamara to extend [his contract].
“You will be more in the spotlight than at a club in the middle of the Premier League table.
“And this is your club, there is a good project.
“You are in your twenties; you will earn money in your career.â€
