Popworld Newcastle is keen to recruit new staff and says it's looking for fun-loving party people to fit the bill.
The city centre late bar and dance club - an enduring favourite in the Bigg Market - is eager to get the party restarted after the past year of lockdown restrictions and it is gearing up for a big reopening.
With the big lockdown release date still currently set for June 21, there are many Newcastle late pubs and clubs planning a return to business as usual.
And Popworld, which underwent a revamp in 2019 and is part of the Stonegate Group of pubs that includes many others in Newcastle such as Flares and Retro, is all set to blast back.
The venue, always a big hit a hen and stag parties, is tempting returning customers with such questions as 'Who else can't wait for that first Abba track on a night out?'
The bar, which has been running live-streams during lockdown, describes itself as 'cheese with style' and it is looking for those who share its sense of fun.
It is promising new staff 'huge incentives' as well as a special Popworld uniform.
In a post advertising for staff on its Facebook page, it said: "We are after fun loving and hard working individuals to join our bar team" and it asked: "Think you have what it takes to join the party?"
It is offering "huge incentives" including a 25% discount card which can be used on food and drink in all Stonegate venues.
Previous experience is not necessary but applicants will have to be keen to learn and become team players as well as be able to work unsupervised at busy times.
Full training will be provided for the available roles which will have an hourly pay of up to £9.11.
Popworld also says that "many more goodies" are in store for successful applicants.
Those interested in a job there can find out more about it and apply here.
