Cider maker Kopparberg has announced a special treat for summer with a tropical refresh to its famous mixed fruit flavour.
The favourite variety has been tweaked with a pineapple, passion fruit, and mango twist and comes in limited-edition designed bottles and cans.
This is the first time that the UK’s best-selling cider brand has released a limited-edition design, just in time for summer. Designs feature a bright, bold visual that celebrates the fruity flavours and brings to life the carnival atmosphere of the tropics.
Rob Salvesen, Kopparberg head of marketing, said: “Kopparberg Mixed Fruit cider is a fan favourite, and has long heralded the start of Kopparberg Season, when the sun comes out and people grab a drink with their mates in the park or beer garden.
"We wanted to put a tropical twist on this Kopparberg icon, released in our first ever limited-edition design bottles and cans, providing a new flavour that’s guaranteed to define that first sip of a truly unforgettable summer.”
Kopparberg will be giving away BBQs, cool bags and Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Tropical to 10 lucky winners. Drinkers are advised to check out the brand's social media channels on April 23 for more information on how to win.
Kopparberg Mixed Fruit Tropical Limited Edition Cider will be available from selected Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys, Co-op and Morrisons.
A brand new, exclusive 10 can cider variety pack featuring the new Mixed Fruit Tropical Cider, Rose, Cherry, Strawberry & Lime and Mixed Fruit will also be available at selected Co-op stores from April 28.
