NASA has revealed a huge crater on the surface of Mars. It looks like an ear.
The US Space Agency recently released an impressive snap taken from the high-tech Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter probe that has been orbiting Mars since 2006.
Shows a 1,800-meter crater (1.1 miles), located in the Chryse Planitia in Mars' northern hemisphere.
Detailed black-and-white photographs of impact craters no doubt awed many avid space watchers, but many others were drawn to their familiar shapes. .
