Bury's newest bar will bring a 'community feel' to the town centre, according to its owner.
Stanley's of Bury opened in Silver Street at the weekend following a £35,000 makeover.
Owner Tom Sharman says he wants to replicate the success of his other venue, Stanley's of Tottington, which opened in the nearby village two years ago.
The 24-year-old said the idea to launch another bar in Bury town centre was spawned before the pandemic started last year.
"We wanted to bring a community feel to the centre of Bury," said Mr Sharman.
"We knew what we had as a business model and it worked.
"We know the area and know what it's missing.
"There is a gap in the market for somewhere offering good quality service, cocktails and a nice community feel which can sometimes can be difficult to get in a town centre."
Mr Sharman also owns The House of Bridget - a popular gay bar which hosts regular drag shows - which is next door to the new venue.
When the building, which has previously been home to a number of bars, became available last year, Mr Sharman said he 'could not turn it down'.
He took on the building in November and has spent seven months transforming the interior into a modern, spacious bar area.
The initial plan was to start welcoming customers in March, but lockdown rules meant he was forced to put his plans on hold.
Stanley's of Bury finally threw open its door last Friday, and Mr Sharman is confident it will become an instant success.
He says the bar will host live performances from musicians, as well as events such as quiz and cheese nights.
"We want to bring something unique," said Mr Sharman.
"We pride ourselves on the quality service and making all our customers feel like regulars.
"We hope we can attract the same customers we have in Tottington, but perhaps others from further afield too.
"We are really excited about it and quietly confident."
Mr Sharman hopes to open a fourth bar in the near future, although he is yet to decide on a location.
Stanley’s of Bury will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, and offers an extensive cocktail menu along with a range of house wines and lagers.
