A MUM has revealed how she turned a battered, old Wendy house into an epic ice cream parlour for her daughter, and she has impressed hundreds of parents.
Better yet - the savvy woman got the Wendy house for free and transformed it in just one week for under £50.
The finished result looked beautiful, with flowers decorating the outside, and a window hatch for “ice cream orders” on the side.
Taking to the Facebook group DIY on a Budget UK, she wrote: “So I managed to get an old wendy house for free and in 1 week and for less than £50 we have turnt it into a pretty little ice cream parlor/cottage for our little girl.
“We did a new floor then finished it off with leftover carpet from the house, a newly felted roof, a ceiling that lights up at night under a swag of lace and fairy lights, lick of paint and lots of hard work!!
“She loves it!
“We've got a few more bits and pieces we want to add but we are so happy with the result.”
One wrote: “Oh wow!! What a beautiful transformation.”
Another added: “That looks amazing, what time can we all come round for ice cream?!”
