A MUM has slammed Amazon for “insane” overpackaging after three small sachets of “reindeer food” arrived separately in three huge boxes.
Kaz Worton-Casey, 48, said: “They were all ordered at the same time from the same retailer.
"They could have fitted in one envelope or jiffy bag.
“I thought it was insane. What a waste of time, effort and packaging.”
The hospice nurse, from Worthing, West Sussex, complained to Amazon who told her they would flag the issue to the packaging team.
Amazon said since 2008 it has eliminated 914,000 tons of wrapping.

Kaz added: “I try and do my bit for the planet like we all should.
“It’s a difficult year to avoid online shopping and unnecessary packaging because of lockdown but it’s just frustrating when you see this.
“The boxes probably cost more than what the decorations did.”
