A MUM has shared the epic costume she made her for kids based on The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, but people reckon one child drew the short straw.
Mum Peagan Williams took inspiration from the children’s classic for book week, and we’re presuming she’s going to re-use the costumes for Halloween next week.
While a lion and a witch outfit are fairly easy to rustle up, Peagan had to put her thinking cap on to create a wardrobe for her son, Asher.
She sourced a large cardboard box and bought wood-effect fablon to cover it, adding a realistic trim at the top and handles.
And on the back Peagan, from Australia, has even printed off a photo of Narnia which she attached with a glue gun.
Proud Peagan shared a snap of her kids to Facebook group Kmart Home Decor & Hacks Australia, with Cade dressed as the lion, Stella as the witch, and Asher as the wardrobe.
Her costumes have gone down a storm online, with more than 4,000 people liking the post.
Peagan wrote: “Thanks Kmart!
“The Lion, The Witch & The WARDROBE for book week.
“Put the wood look vinyl to work.”
But people reckoned Asher drew the short straw when it came to the intricate costumes, while some questioned how he’d get into school.
One person joked: “The wardrobe doesn’t look all that impressed.”
Another wrote: “Fantastic, well done....not sure the wardrobe is happy he didn’t get the lion.”
A third commented: “Imagine mum tells you they she’s got a wicked costume idea, and then you end up a wardrobe.”
This person said: “Imagine being the least favourite child and having to dress up as the wardrobe.”
While someone else added: “Haha the kid in the wardrobe outfit looks thrilled about being a cupboard.”
