A MUM was stunned to find angry messages scrawled all over her car in a bitter parking row over a dropped kerb.
Laura Cleaver, 28, said a crowd had surrounded her grey Fiat 500 on Marston Road, Sutton Coldfield at around 2pm on August 6.
She parked her car at around 11am, to get a train with her loved ones.
But she was filled with embarrassment when she saw the messages written in marker pen on all four windows.
The messages read: "There is a parking notice for a reason!
"Expect parking fine, thanks.
"No parking by dropped kerb.
"Did you see the parking notice?"
She insists she parked beside the sloping part of the dropped kerb and was not blocking access.
Recalling the moment she found her car. she said: "I was embarrassed. A small crowd had formed. I was intimidated and shocked. I didn't expect it to happen.
What I did wasn't illegalLaura Cleaver
'I was out with my two-year-old and my husband's nan, who is in her 80s. I got out and checked where I had parked when I got there. It wasn't blocking any driveways."
Mrs Cleaver said she simply would have apologised if the person had just left a note.
She reported the incident to West Midlands Police, and had no choice but to clean the car with wet wipes.
Less than a week later, she found out another car parked on the same street had been wrapped in cling film.
On Monday August 12, the red Audi A1 had messages which said: "Parking notice. Health and Safety.
"Car wrapped to protect from damage from deliveries. Thank you."
Locals insist the two incidents are not isolated.
