Now after his depraved abuse was laid bare, Spence was jailed for 14 years and branded as an 'offender of particular concern'.
The woman who was abused by Spence, now aged in her 30s, said in a statement: "I have been absolutely numb to this for years.
"I had almost forgotten about it, I had blocked it that much."
Branding him as a 'monster', she added: "This man has made an impact on my life and only now I see the dots all join together.
"It never used to make sense to me.
"He deserves everything that's coming to him."
Manchester Crown Court heard that she said the abuse started when she was nine, while Spence claimed it began when she was 12, occurring in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
Prosecutor Michael Lavery said that during one of the vile sexual assaults, Spence told her it was 'a taste of what it would be like for her when she reached 18, and he would take her virginity'.
