Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she underwent endometriosis surgery last month, admitting that her "health is not great".

The Love Island alumni had the operation in a bid to remove or destroy the deposits of endometriosis, which is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other areas.

Taking to her YouTube channel to update her fans the 22-year-old said her surgery had left her "in a bit of a mess."

"The operation was way way harder to go through than I thought and my recovery time was quite a bit longer than I had planned and I was just a bit of a mess after that surgery," Molly-Mae said.

"A lot of the things I've been talking about recently is like my health is not great - but my endometriosis video is the last now.

"I am done, hopefully I never have to see my doctor's surgery or the hospital that I go to for a long time."

When Molly-Mae was asked how she was feeling about her surgery last month she said: "I’m just looking forward to it to be honest because my endometriosis massively impacts my life, I just pray the surgery helps."

Despite celebrating her epic promotion as the creative director of Pretty Little Thing, Molly-Mae has had a tough few months having also had lumps removed from her left breast and finger.

She told her followers recently: "They've sent both lumps off for testing and I'm 100% sure they're going to be fine because I'd already had a biopsy on the one on my boob and they said it was fine and the one on my finger - I'm hopeful it's gonna be fine."
