Miley Cyrus reflected on her relationship with Liam Hemsworth as she shared a clip she filmed in the home they lost in the wildfires.

The Prisoner singer and the Hunger Games actor rekindled their relationship in 2015 before divorcing in 2019.

They lost their home due to the wildfires in California and Miley shared a memory of her writing the song Malibu about it.

"Today is the 4 year anniversary of Malibu," she captioned the clip she shared to Instagram.

"A song about a place and person that at the time I loved very much. That love was reciprocated beyond what I could describe here with freedom & escapism.

"I lost that home along with many others in 2018. Here is a video of me writing it in my home studio."
