Migrant gangsters forced to buy boats from countries outside of France due to crackdown by Britain

MIGRANT gangsters have been forced to buy boats from countries outside of France due to a crackdown by Britain’s FBI.

Organised crime groups are sourcing inflatable small boats from Germany, Holland and Denmark and transporting them to France by road.

The National Crime Agency has stopped their supply lines in Calais.

NCA boss Miles Bonfield revealed they have even had boats transported from the UK.

He said: “We are attacking them at every step of the journey to the UK border.

“In July we started a joint intelligence cell with the French and have had over 40 arrests.

“This has meant that crime groups have had to go across all of Europe in order to source the rigid inflatable boats for this clandestine trade.”

Mr Bonfield, head of organised immigration crime operations at the NCA, added: “We’re pushing them out and making life difficult.”

There have been more than 8,000 migrant boat crossings this year.
