Tyne and Wear Metro train services have been impacted for a second day running due to driver shortages.
More than 13 services will be affected this morning starting with the 5.41am service from Regent Centre to South Hylton. The 11.26am South Hylton to Airport service
Tyne and Wear Metro have announced the second consecutive day of driver shortages and apologised for the disruption and inconvenience to rail passengers.
They tweeted: "Today, Friday 30th July, some morning services are cancelled due to driver availability. Please leave extra time for your journey."
Trains cancelled are:
Train 1: 07.09 South Gosforth – Pelaw
07.39 Pelaw – Monkseaton
08.26 Monkseaton – Pelaw
09.15 Pelaw – South Gosforth
Train 2: 07.18 Longbenton – Monkseaton
07.38 Monkseaton – Pelaw
08.27 Pelaw – Monkseaton
Train 1: 05.41 Regent Centre – South Hylton
06.38 South Hylton – Airport
07.50 Airport – South Hylton
09.02 South Hylton – Airport
10.14 Airport – South Hylton
11.26 South Hylton – Airport
