Mel C's performance from iconic movie Grease on Dancing With The Stars wasn't enough to save her from becoming the fifth celebrity to leave the US TV competition.

The Spice Girl and former Strictly Pro Gleb Savenchenko took the roles of Sandy and Danny to perform up-tempo quick-step to You're The One That I Want before being eliminated from the show.

Melanie, 47, was tipped to go all the way in the competition after a strong score last week but landed in the bottom two after paying homage to the 1978 film Grease.

Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli had the final say on who would stay in the competition.

Mel and Gleb were joined by Olivia Jade and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who scored the exact same score, in the dance off.
The judges tied on who to send home but head judge Len made the final decision and cast Mel out of the competition.
The singer had opened up about her fears about entering the show and how it made her 'vulnerable'.
She told People: "We were filmed all day, every day, in rehearsals, and I’m not used to that environment. Well, probably not since the ’90s, you know, being a Spice Girl and having cameras following us around everywhere. So that was a bit of a scary thing for me,’ she told reporters, according to People.

She posted on Instagram : "At this stage, with two dances this week, it’s all about recovery, recovery, baby. I hate ice baths but they make such a difference. Prepare to watch me suffer people!"
