MEGHAN Trainor's father was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car in an apparent hit-and-run.
TMZ reported Gary Trainor was hit while was walking across a busy street.
Despite any potential injuries, it appear's Gary'll be okay, according to TMZ.
Insiders say he was hit on a street near the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles Friday night and taken to a nearby emergency room.
Meghan's representative told People: “He is in stable condition."
The identity of the driver is not yet known.
Meghan and her father, who's in his 70's, are very close.
The well known piano player apparently mentored the artist and was even featured on one of her early EP's.
It's said he produced the song "Cupid" and contributed to the song, "Tumble."
