The insider claims other Royal Family members are fully aware of recent public distress of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry but their relationship still remains extremely strained. Last month, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen emotionally opening up during the ITV documentary ‘Harry & Meghan: An African Journey’, which was filmed during their royal tour in Africa earlier this year. The explosive television programme saw Harry admit to sometimes struggling with royal life and public scrutiny, while Meghan revealed not many people have asked if she is “okay”.
Harry also added more fuel to speculation of a major rift with his brother Prince William by acknowledging they are “certainly on different paths at the moment”.
Meghan expressed her pain and distress at being a first-time mother in the public spotlight, while Harry revealed his desperate attempts to protect his new family from invasions of privacy and tabloid scrutiny.
Harry’s friend Tom Bradby, who interviewed them for the explosive documentary, described them as being “bruised and vulnerable”.
But the emotional and honest confessions about their struggles in the public eyer appear to have fallen on deaf ears from within royal circles, with the source telling People relations between Meghan and Harry and the rest of the family remain strained.
People magazine claimed whose close to Meghan and Harry say the couple struggle with continued feelings of isolation from the rest of the Royal Family.
The source told People “eyes are open” about their recent troubles from within royal circles, but said: “There hasn’t been this complete 180. Nothing has changed.
“They don’t speak, no one is checking in, no one is texting.”
During the documentary, Meghan opened up for the first time about the constant strain and media scrutiny she has found herself placed under.
She said: “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable, and so that was made really challenging.
“So you add media attention on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed.
“Not many people have asked if I’m okay, but it’s a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.”
When Mr Bradby asked if it “would be fair” to say that she’s “not really okay, as in it’s really been a struggle,” the Duchess took a short pause before replying: “Yes”.

Harry also added to long-running speculation of a rift with his brother Prince William by admitting “we are on different paths at the moment”.
He said: “Part of this job, part of this role and this family being under the pressure that it is under, inevitably stuff happens.
“But look, we’re brothers, we’ll always be brothers, and we’re certainly on different paths at the moment but I will always be there for him as I know he will always be there for me.
“We don't see each other as much as we used to because we are so busy but I love him dearly and the majority of the stuff is created out of nothing.
“As brothers, you have good days, you have bad days.”
People magazine claims insiders have told them tensions between the royal brothers have increased Harry’s feelings of isolation while for Meghan, who is raising her newborn thousands of miles from her Los Angeles home, the distance from both of their families is a great strain.
Royal biographer Penny Junor recently told People: “It is a strange family and not one that has supported one another very well.
“They don’t praise one another and never call each other up just to say, ‘That was a great speech.’”
Following the documentary last month, a veteran royal commentator told Express.co.uk that Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, was prepared to break her silence and attempt to reconnect Meghan and Harry into their circle.
Phil Dampier said: “Behind the scenes I’m told Kate is doing her best to bring everyone together and help Meghan.
“None of them want to let the Queen down so Kate is trying to patch things up in private.
“I’m told she has reached out to Meghan and spoken to her on the phone. Kate feels sorry for her and knows that Meghan is struggling.”
